Riverside Public Library Foundation History

In 1996 seven loyal supporters of the Library (Norton Younglove, Mary Curtin, Bob Fitch, Marge Savage, Paul Fick, Mike Reagan and David Werner – known as the “Magnificent Seven”) started the initiative to form a foundation to raise funds to ensure the continued excellence of the Riverside Public Library Library into the future. 

The Riverside Public Library Foundation’s incorporation was granted in July 1997. Over the past 27 years the following individuals have served on RPLF’s Board and helped build and sustain our Libraries:
